Lord of the harvest, we include in our prayers a special word of thanks to you on the occasion of the 50^th anniversary of our WELS Central Africa Medical Mission. We thank you for all of the blessings you have shown to them over the past 50 years.

We are especially grateful that you have given the Medical Mission the privilege of building bridges to the Gospel by serving the people of Malawi and Zambia since 1961 and helping them physically with their medical needs. Continue to prosper the work of our nurses, medical assistants, and clinic administrators as they “do good to all people, especially to those who belong to the family of believers.” May their work provide opportunities for Christ’s gospel to be shared with as many Africans as possible.

Swell the number of African people who hear the joyful proclamation of Christ and embrace him as their priceless Treasure. Give each of us here in the United States and Canada a heart that wants to eagerly support their work with our prayers and offerings. We pray this in Jesus’ name. Amen.
