Althea Sauer was a registered nurse and the wife of Pastor Theodore Sauer who served as missionary to Zambia. Pastor and Mrs. Sauer lived among the Zambians and saw the tremendous need for spiritual and medical care. Mrs. Sauer worked as a nurse at the Mwembezhi Lutheran Rural Health Center in the early years of the Central Africa Medical Mission (CAMM).
