Opportunity to Serve

Nurse Coordinator

Have a love for missions?  Interested in serving the Lord while working with others who also share the same love for missions?  The Central Africa Medical Mission stateside committee is looking for a Registered Nurse to serve with this “Mission of Love”.  Our current Nurse in Charge, Beth Evans, has accepted a new role as Nurse in Charge of the Lutheran Mobile Clinic in Malawi.  Meetings are bimonthly and are usually held at Kettle Moraine Lutheran High School in Jackson WI.  While the nurse coordinator must be an RN, extensive knowledge of CAMM is not necessary.  Those interested must be WELS or ELS and have a willingness to learn about the influence CAMM has on those we serve in Zambia and Malawi.

Nurse Coordinator – Respond to routine medical questions. Serve as a contact for medical advice for the expatriate personnel and as a colleague to the medical advisor as needed. Communicate with potential new expatriate medical mission personnel and assist with preparation for their field service as needed. Assist with stateside transition as expatriate personnel return from their term of service.
