Interested in serving the needs of others?  Interested in working and learning in a different culture?  The Central Africa Medical Mission is seeking to talk with those interested in our Nurse-in-Charge and Clinic Administrator positions for the Lutheran Mobile Clinic (Malawi). The nurse in charge must be an RN with clinic or hospital experience.  The nurse-in-charge supervises clinic staff and maintains all clinic functions.  The clinic administrator handles all clerical and administration duties.

Due to living arrangements, couples as well as 2 single females or 2 single males are encouraged to contact us.  The applicant for the nurse in charge may be female or male.  The term of service for both positions is 3 years.  The next term would begin possibly in January 2020.  The application process as well as employment permits for Malawi take almost a year.

All applicants must be in good standing within WELS or ELS membership.

An application may be obtained here (Application Form) or by contacting Beth Evans ( or Linda Liesener (cammcontact@charter.netfor more information.

Have a love for missions?  Interested in serving the Lord while working with others who also share the same love for missions?  The Central Africa Medical Mission stateside committee is looking for a couple individuals to serve with this “Mission of Love”.  We have a current opening for the Nurse Coordinator and for a general position (possibly Secretary).  These openings are due to current members transitioning to other roles within the committee and to the mission field of Malawi.  Meetings are bimonthly and are usually held at Kettle Moraine Lutheran High School in Jackson WI.  While the nurse coordinator must be an RN, neither position must have extensive knowledge of CAMM.  Those interested must be WELS or ELS and have a willingness to learn about the influence CAMM has on those we serve in Zambia and Malawi.  Please contact Linda Liesener ( or Shelly Sievert (
